Mary’s 100th Birthday Party
We celebrated 100 years of Mary’s life in the presence of the Mayor of Wandsworth, Cllr Jeremy Ambache and a great time was enjoyed by all who attended. The decor was in the theme of poppies as for over 40 years Mary was seen at Putney Station raising funds and selling poppies. Three cakes spelt out 100 and Songs on Wheels entertained brilliantly.
Mary received a card from the King and Queen as well as birthday wishes from the Pope. It was an amazing day and everyone really enjoyed the celebrations.
